Clean Sweep of Maret in Tennis
Friday afternoon the team hosted Maret school on a beautiful parents weekend day.
The Maroon girls would not disappoint, as they swept their opponents 7-0 with very little mercy. Everyone got off to good starts and would not let up. Captain Lilly Schmachtenberger ’19 led the charge and was first off with a win, and everyone followed her lead with wins. Nora Huffines ’20 and Catherine Clark ’21 would not surrender a game in their doubles match. This was a much welcomed win as we head into the postseason. Nice job girls tennis!
