Maroon Beats Cardinals in Alexandria City Tournament
The varsity golf team traveled across town to Mount Vernon Country Club to take on Bishop Ireton in the Alexandria City Tournament.
The match was originally scheduled to include St Stephens St Agnes but unfortunately they had to cancel at the last minute, turning the City Tournament into a dual match. The day was stormy but the teams managed to get in 9 holes before the match was called due to lightning. Cole Wise '19 shot a 33 on the front, an outstanding score, earning medalist honors. Also contributing to a victory for EHS were George Moore '18, Will Riggsbee '20, and Anderson Glover '18. The final score of the match was EHS 157 to Bishop Ireton 164.
