Biography:
Prior to joining the Episcopal community, Brent served on the faculty of St. Paul's School while completing graduate work through the University of Pennsylvania's Boarding School Teaching Residency program. Prior to his life in schools, Brent served as organist and choirmaster of historic Trinity Church in Newport, RI and completed graduate studies in sacred music at the Boston University School of Theology.

At Episcopal, Brent directs the choral and chapel music programs and teaches in the arts and theology departments. He also music directs the winter musical, serves on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and advises on McGuire dorm.

Outside of Episcopal, Brent serves as assistant organist of St. John's Church, Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., and manages the Royal School of Church Music Summer Training Course held each summer in Newport, RI.
