We encourage all applicants and their families to personally visit the campus for a campus tour and interview. A personal interview is a required part of the application process and a great opportunity for students to learn more about EHS. Applicants will interview with one of our Admissions Officers and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet with the Admissions Officer as well.  Families should plan to spend about two hours on campus for the tour and interview.
    • What to Expect When Visiting EHS

This video, filmed and produced by students, offers a helpful guide on how best to enter campus and what to expect once you arrive!

  • Attend an Open House

Our annual Open House will be held on Saturday, October 19. We hope you will join us for a chance to observe the various academic, art, athletic, and student life programs available at Episcopal. Please check back later this summer for more details and a link to register.

On Saturday, January 11, 2020, we will hold our Explore Episcopal event, during which rising 9th, 10th, and 11th graders have the opportunity to spend time getting to know our outstanding faculty and coaches. The Explore Episcopal sessions give students the opportunity to learn about and experience our various academic, art, and athletic options.
  • Make An Appointment

The best way to get to know Episcopal High School is by visiting our beautiful campus. If you would like to arrange a tour, simply call our admission office at 703-933-4062, or email us at .

Visits are typically scheduled during the academic year on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Although we encourage you to visit when school is in session, we are happy to accommodate families year-round.

Please be advised that December and January appointment slots get filled up quickly as we try to accommodate families who intend to complete their application by our deadline. Families should also note that once an appointment is booked, it can be difficult to reschedule during this time, and thus we encourage families to keep their original appointment if at all possible.

While we would like to meet you in person, for international students or other applicants who are unable to make it to campus, please contact the Admissions Office to set up a phone or "Skype" interview.  Please note we must have an application as well as standardized testing and current grades (if at all possible) on file before scheduling this type of appointment.
  • Before You Arrive

While not required, students are encouraged to submit any completed pieces of the application before coming to campus for the interview. Interviews should be completed prior to the January 15 application deadline if at all possible, however, as long as all other application requirements are met, applicants may interview through the end of January.
  • Revisit Days

A formal accepted student revisit experience will take place during the late afternoon and evening on Sunday, March 29, and the morning and early afternoon on Monday, March 30, 2020. Those students who have been offered places in the student body for the 2020-21 academic year are invited to attend. These events offer students and parents the opportunity to experience EHS again prior to making their enrollment decision.
Invitations and additional details regarding the accepted student revisit events will be communicated on March 10, 2020. Individual revisit opportunities are also made available for families who are unable to make the formal accepted student revisit event.
