Biography:
Pat Young was born and raised in Princeton, N.J., where early exposure to university life sparked a lifelong passion for academia and athletics. A standout student-athlete, Pat attended the Peddie School and later Christchurch School, where he excelled as a two-sport All-American. He continued his lacrosse career at both UMBC and the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating in 2016.
Following five seasons of professional lacrosse, Pat transitioned into education, serving as a teacher and coach at Bishop Ireton High School for five years. He eventually returned to the familiar boarding school environment he loves at Episcopal High School. As an admissions officer, Pat is dedicated to connecting with prospective families and advocating for the transformative resources residential schools provide.
Outside of work, Pat stays active through golfing, hiking, and skiing. He also enjoys creative writing, old-school hip-hop, and performing in the faculty band. Above all, he treasures quality time with his wife, Sherelle, and their three children: Avery, Raegan, and Jace.
