As the school year comes to a close, Episcopal gathered to celebrate its spring athletes at the annual Spring Athletics Banquet. This year’s banquet was a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of mentors, as demonstrated by Amelia Hanson ’24. Despite a significant knee injury early in her athletic career, she found solace and resilience in the girls’ crew team at Episcopal. Reflecting on her journey, she shared four key lessons she learned out of the water: the futility of a bad attitude, the importance of commitment to both team and self, the critical nature of communication, and the value of challenges. Her speech concluded with a heartfelt tribute to Coach Dave Collins: “Coach Collins, your dedication to this program and to female athletes is such an asset to Episcopal. Your coaching has impacted my life exponentially.”

Congratulations to all of our spring athletic award winners!
