Matt received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, where he concentrated in inter­national relations and was a four year member of the rowing team. After college, Matt spent five years working in banking and venture capital before embarking on a teaching career in 1999. He later earned a master’s degree in computing and education from Teacher’s College at Columbia University.

Before joining the EHS faculty, Matt worked at indepen­dent schools in several capacities, including math­ematics and computer science teacher; director of information services and educational technology; and coach of rowing, football, and ice hockey.

At Episcopal, Matt serves as a math and entrepreneurial studies teacher, golf coach, and entrepreneurship coordinator for the Washington Program. In the summer, Matt co-leads the outdoor camp for Episcopal. Matt is an avid rower and outdoorsman and lives on campus with his wife, Dr. Adrianna Bravo, and their three daugh­ters, EllaMae, Tallulah, and Tennyson.
