Bradley D. Kovach
Departments and Positions: Science Teacher
School Extension 4039 BDK@episcopalhighschool.org
Bradley joined the Episcopal faculty after teaching IB science and math at the Cayman International School in the Cayman Islands. Prior to his career in education, he spent several years conducting high-throughput genetic research as part of a small biotech start-up in Memphis, Tenn. When asked about the experience, he commented, “Being on the cutting edge of our field was exhilarating and helped me to realize my desire to be an educator. I try to recreate this feeling in the classroom by facilitating discussion of the latest and greatest that science has to offer.”
At EHS, Bradley teaches chemistry, physics, genetics, and history of science. He also serves as the faculty advisor to the Community Council, a Washington Program Coordinator, and coaches football and basketball.
Bradley lives on Hoxton Dorm with his wife Alyssa, their three sons Edison, Penn, and Lincoln, and their dog Dolce.
