A four-year member of the varsity volleyball team, she earned All-ISL honors as a junior and co-captained the team as a senior. Co-captain of the team as a senior, she received the college’s Barbara McNamara Women’s Basketball Endowed Scholarship for leadership on and off the court.

She continued her involvement in the sport after college as a coach at Harvard University and the University of Minnesota, where she helped the team to the school’s first Final Four appearance.
