Sam Streed ’13: A Look Behind the Pages of Alfred’s Book of Monsters

EHS alum brings Halloween to the Angie Newman Johnson Gallery with his first illustrated children's book, Alfred's Book of Monsters.
Sam Streed '13 will be on campus for a gallery reception and book signing on Thursday, October 24, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition highlights sketches and work that went into the creation of the delightfully creepy book. Sam crafted the prototype of the book in one of his classes at the Rhode Island School of Design. Streed will also work with English and arts classes in some hands on project work and gallery visits. He is eager to connect with EHS students and we are looking forward to having Sam back on campus.
