Varsity Crew Places Second

The varsity squad traveled to the Potomac River to race the National Cathedral School and Georgetown Visitation.
The first four found themselves in a four-boat race - competing against two NCS boats and one boat from Visitation. Episcopal and National Cathedral's A boats were rowing stroke for stroke as they passed through the Key Bridge (750-meter mark). Under the bridge, the two crews clashed oars for a couple of strokes which pushed Episcopal off their rhythm. When the boat regained their stride, NCS had moved out to a one-boat length lead. In the last 500 meters, the four was unable to close the gap and finished in second place, five seconds behind NCS.
