Boys varsity LAX falls to Prep

The athletic Little Hoyas got off to a quick start as they led 5-1 early in the first quarter on Friday evening. The Maroon battled back on multiple occasions as they had a couple opportunities to be within one goal at the half. Unfortunately, a late Prep goal pushed the lead to 8-5 at the half. The Little Hoyas controlled the second half outscoring the Maroon 7-2. Will Cory '19 and Finlay MacKnight'20 led the offense. Christian Storch '20 played outstanding defense on the day holding Prep's best offensive player to zero goals and John Boyles '20 made some very nice plays from the defensive midfield position. Luke Mascatello '19 made several strong saves on the day and finished with 11 overall stops. The loss drops the boys' record in the IAC to 0-2.
