Varsity Wrestlers Place in All-Met Tournament

Nine members of the varsity wrestling team competed in the 4th Annual Melee in the Metro held at Wilson High School in D.C.
This was by far the toughest competition of the year, as the 22-team tournament field included the top two teams from Virginia, most of the top independent programs in the D.C. area, as well as nationally ranked Wyoming Seminary. Seven out of 10 wrestlers scored team points, six advanced to the second day, and three wrestlers placed. Episcopal finished 15th out 22 teams. Placing for the Maroon were Chineme Agulanna ‘20 (8th at 120), Max Meyer ‘20 (8th at 220) and Will Smith ‘19 (2nd at 195).
