Three In A Row: Boys Varsity Bball on Winning Streak

Saturday’s home contest versus Potomac School was an important one in preparation for the Virginia Independent Schools Tournament that will take place later this month.
EHS is currently ranked #6 and Potomac #8. It did not take the Maroon long to show that they were ready to play. The team jumped out to an early 22-8 lead, and at the half EHS led 40-19. The second half was not a pretty sixteen minutes of basketball, but fatigue was surely setting in for the Maroon after a long week of basketball. Potomac did cut in to the lead, but Episcopal held on for the win, 64-55.

Episcopal is now 14-8 on the season, and the team finished the I.A.C. regular season with a record of 6-4. EHS enters the I.A.C. Tournament as the #3 seed, and the Maroon will host St. Albans on Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. on Ainslie Court.
