Girls Fall in Second Round

The girls varsity squash team played Conestoga in the second round of the nationals tournament.
Lilly Schmachtenberger '19 had a solid match, but fell short to her opponent, who had had endless energy. Karla Domingues '20 found her groove and won in four, while impressing the crowd with her dauntingly effective behind-the-back flick that always found the front wall. Lindsey Harrison '19, with her wicked boasts, sustained her momentum to win in four very close games: 14-12, 11-9, 8-11, 13-11. Lilly Whitner '19, inspired by her dedicated and devoted fan base, won an exciting, evenly paired match in five: 11-6, 7-11, 7-11, 11-5, 11-5.
