Maroon Falls to Top-Ranked Potomac
The boys varsity squash team hosted Potomac on Thursday.
The Panthers have been the gold standard in the MASO for their very strong technical and shot-making abilities. They finished first in the MASO last season; graduated only two players, and field a deep roster of players who work the tournament and camps circuit during the off-season.
The Maroon, top to bottom, all raised their level, and refused to concede a rally, game or match to the league leaders (not without a fight, at least). In the face of tense moments, and difficult speed of play, the Maroon demonstrated amazing effort, fantastic sportsmanship, and represented the program and school well.
