Junior Basketball Loses to Landon

The final score was Episcopal 43 and Landon 69, bringing the team's record to an even 1-1.
Leading the Maroon were Ward Lilly '22 with 11 points, Thomas Peacock '22 with 9 points, and Boots Giblin '22 with 7 points. The team came out with a lot of energy and were able to keep the score close through the first half of the game. During the second half, the Landon team made adjustments in their offensive strategies to better combat the Maroon's solid 2-3 zone offense which led to them padding their lead.
 
Episcopal responded with adjustments of their own, gaining some ground in the fourth quarter, but the consistent ball movement and nearly flawless shooting of the Landon team proved to be too much to overcome that late in the game.
