Girls Varsity Squash Reduces Panthers Roar to Mere Meow

The girls varsity squash team traveled to McLean to take on the Potomac Panthers. The Maroon came out strong and never let up.
Of note, six players—Mac Faughnan '19, Karla Domingues '20, Pierson Gammage '20, Lilly Whitner '19, Lilly Schmachtenberger '19 and Cooper Redd '20—refused to relinquish a single game. In one game, Gammage almost refused to give up a point. Lily Dolan '20 went neck-and-neck until she cranked it up and pulled away, 11-2 in the fifth. Co-Captain Lindsey Harrison '19, in characteristic fashion, graciously conceded her first game and then stormed to victory.
