Girls JV Lacrosse Falls to Collegiate
The Maroon battled the strong Collegiate School team who traveled to EHS from Richmond for the home opener.
Though the game got off to a slow start with a couple of back to back goals, the Collegiate Cougars found their rhythm after about eight minutes and didn't look back from there, finishing with a 15-2 win.
Gigi Friedman '21 had a strong game, playing good defense in the midfield and stopping ball at key moments. Additionally, goalie Liv Hunt '21 had several great saves in cage. Missy Brandt '20 had some initial contact with the ball on the draw, and now the entire midfield line, as well as some attackers, will look to improve on their draw control possession during this week's practices.
