Lionel L. Rauth

Biography:
At the University of Virginia, Lionel studied math and psychology, played club Ultimate Frisbee, and developed a thirst for teaching as a camp counselor at the Summer Enrichment Program. After college, he spent two years in Washington D.C. as a research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, investigating human vision with functional MRI and TMS, before realizing his passion for teaching and coming to EHS in 2013.

Lionel teaches all levels of math from geometry to multivariable calculus and coaches the Ultimate Frisbee and boys' junior soccer teams. He is also the faculty sponsor of the math and science tutoring center. He lives in Dalrymple with his fiance Morgan and their dog Maple, and spends his free time running, reading, and playing pickup Ultimate.
