Mike Reynolds

Biography:
Mike returned to Episcopal after a year teaching at the Charlotte Latin School. In addition to teaching in the Social Studies Department, Mike also serves as Historian in Residence. In that role, as Episcopal prepares to commemorate and celebrate its 200th anniversary, he works with students and colleagues to research the history of EHS and the region and integrate those findings into the larger school curriculum. Mike previously lived and worked at EHS from 2008 until 2021. In addition to teaching social studies courses, he served as a dorm head and class dean and coached track and field and football. Before coming to EHS, Mike researched and taught history at the University of South Carolina and also worked for USC’s Institute for Southern Studies.

Mike and his wife, Catherine, live on campus with their two spaniels, Rosie and Sport.
