Hadiyyah A. Abdul-Jalaal ’17

Biography:
Raised as a military dependent on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington, D.C., Hadiyyah is a 2017 Episcopal graduate. She went on to graduate from George Mason University with a government and international politics degree with a concentration in international relations. Hadiyyah served as an undergraduate research assistant focused on Mexican-American Border relations, human trafficking, international crime, and corruption. She also earned her Master of Public Policy from George Mason. 
 
Hadiyyah returns to Episcopal as a Teaching Fellow in the Social Studies department where she will teach 10th grade world history. Outside of the classroom, she will be an assistant coach for all three seasons of athletic options. In addition, Hadiyyah looks forward to being a part of the new girl’s dorm, co-advising, and working alongside the admissions office.
