The EHS Endowment

The EHS endowment provides a stable source of income for the School, beyond tuition and annual fund gifts.
Support of the EHS endowment helps ensure that Episcopal continues to attract a gifted faculty and a talented and diverse student body. Endowment funds also ensure that the EHS campus remains an attractive setting for learning and incorporates state-of-the-art technology in all fields.

Income from the endowment funds faculty masterships, salary enhancements, and faculty educational programs; provides financial assistance to deserving students; enhances academic programs; and covers ongoing campus maintenance costs.

Above all, a growing endowment helps moderate tuition increases.

  • Endowed Masterships

Inspirational and committed faculty members have been a hallmark of the Episcopal High School educational experience since the School's founding in 1839.

Endowed masterships ensure Episcopal's future by attracting and retaining the most outstanding teachers. Masterships have been established to honor and memorialize loved ones and favorite faculty members. Masterships may be established with a minimum endowed commitment of $100,000, and range in value up to $1 million.

The proceeds from these funds help to underwrite salaries and professional development for their recipients.
