After one year, I've noticed greater confidence and independence in Attison.
We encourage all applicants and their families to personally visit the campus for a campus tour and interview. A personal interview is a required part of the application process and a great opportunity for students to learn more about EHS. Applicants will interview with one of our Admissions Officers and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet with the Admissions Officer as well. Families should plan to spend about two hours on campus for the tour and interview.
While visiting, students are also welcome to observe a class, meet with teachers or coaches, attend chapel and lunch, or watch an athletic or performing arts practice as our schedule allows. Just let us know of your requests when scheduling your appointment.
We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Explore Episcopal Open House on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 p.m. We are excited to offer current eighth, ninth, and tenth graders the opportunity to spend time getting to know our outstanding faculty and coaches. During the afternoon, three sessions will give you the opportunity to learn about and experience our various academic, art, and athletic options. Each session will run for 45 minutes. Learn more and sign up here. Sessions are limited to students, but tours and an optional program will be offered for parents who wish to remain on campus during the program. Please contact us with any questions. We hope to see you on December 9!
The best way to get to know Episcopal High School is by visiting our beautiful campus. If you would like to arrange a tour, simply call our admission office at 703-933-4062, or email us at email@example.com.
Visits are typically scheduled during the academic year on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:50 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Although we encourage you to visit when school is in session, we are happy to accommodate families year-round.
Please be advised that December and January appointment slots get filled up quickly as we try to accommodate families who intend to complete their application by our deadline. Families should also note that once an appointment is booked, it can be difficult to reschedule during this time, and thus we encourage families to keep their original appointment if at all possible.
While we would like to meet you in person, for international students or other applicants who are unable to make it to campus, please contact the Admissions Office to set up a phone or "Skype" interview. Please note we must have an application as well as standardized testing and current grades (if at all possible) on file before scheduling this type of appointment.
To assist us in our planning and to make your visit more informative, students are encouraged to complete the "pre-visit" form which will be emailed to you along with your appointment confirmation. Students are also encouraged to submit any completed pieces of the application before coming to campus. Interviews should be completed prior to the January 15 application deadline if at all possible, however, as long as all other application requirements are met, applicants may interview through the end of January.
A formal accepted student revisit experience will take place during the late afternoon and evening on Sunday, March 25, and the morning and early afternoon on Monday, March 26, 2018. Those students who have been offered places in the student body for the 2018-19 academic year are invited to attend. These events offer students and parents the opportunity to experience EHS again prior to making their enrollment decision.
Invitations and additional details regarding the accepted student revisit events will be communicated on March 10. Individual revisit opportunities are also made available for families who are unable to make the formal accepted student revisit event.
