    • Interview

      Admissions Interview
A personal interview with an Admissions Officer is an essential aspect of Episcopal's admissions application. During the interview, students will have the opportunity to share information about their current school, academic and extra-curricular interests, and their desire to attend boarding school. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet with the Admissions Officer as well.  Families should plan to spend about two hours on campus for the campus tour and interview.

While visiting, students are also welcome to observe a class, meet with teachers or coaches, attend chapel and lunch, or watch an athletic or performing arts practice as our schedule allows. Just let us know of your requests when scheduling your appointment.

*Admissions candidates residing in and attending school in mainland China are required to interview with Vericant before scheduling a visit to Episcopal.

      Schedule a Visit

Visits are typically scheduled during the academic year on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:50 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Although we encourage you to visit when school is in session, we are happy to accommodate families year-round.

Please be advised that December and January appointment slots get filled up quickly as we try to accommodate families who intend to complete their application by our deadline. Families should also note that once an appointment is booked, it can be difficult to reschedule during this time, and thus we encourage families to keep their original appointment if at all possible.

While we would like to meet you in person, for international students or other applicants who are unable to make it to campus, please contact the Admissions Office to set up a phone or "Skype" interview. An application as well as standardized testing and current grades (if at all possible) must be on file before arranging this appointment.

Please, call the Admissions Office at 703-933-4062 or 877-933-4347 (toll-free) to set up an appointment.

      Before You Arrive

To assist us in our planning and to make your visit more informative, students are encouraged to submit any completed pieces of the application before coming to campus. Interviews should be completed prior to the January 15 application deadline. (As long as all other application requirements are met, applicants may interview through the end of January.)
