A boarding school graduate, Colleen continues her teaching career at Episcopal High School after a brief hiatus from boarding school life teaching at day schools in San Diego, Calif. She also taught and coached at the Brooks School in North Andover, Mass. Colleen is thrilled to be returning to boarding school life. “I feel like I’ve come home,” she says.

She graduated from Wellesley College in 1991 with a B.A. in English and earned her Ph.D. in biology from Boston College in 1999. After several years of research in radiation oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital, she realized she truly belongs in the classroom.

At Episcopal, Colleen teaches Advanced Biology and Chemistry, is the 10th Grade Dean, assistant coach of girl's crew, and a member of the Anderson Dorm team. She lives on campus with her husband Paul, their children Owen '20 and Olivia, and their dog Aspen.
