Kate earned master’s degrees in both religious stud­ies and information science and learning technology from the University of Missouri. She completed her undergraduate degree in philosophy from Arkansas State University. Before joining the EHS faculty, Kate worked in the libraries at both Idaho State University and the University of Missouri. She taught courses in library research at both universities, as well as classes in religious studies and philosophy at Missouri.

As a librarian in Episcopal’s David H. March Library, Kate combines her teaching and research experience to assist students with their academic and extracurricular needs.

She lives in Frederick, Md., with her husband Josh and their cats.
