Vaccinations Required Following FDA Approval
With the August 23, 2021, announcement of FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine for individuals aged 16 and older, Episcopal is officially requiring all eligible students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated by October 7, 2021, in keeping with our 45-day post-approval timeframe.
The CDC has reinforced that vaccination of school employees and students is the most reliable intervention for ensuring safety during the upcoming school year and returning to our cherished pre-pandemic activities. We are confident that this decision is in the best interest of our community as a whole.
