Episcopal's student body represents, but is not solely defined by different religions, backgrounds, genders, and cultures. Our school inspires us to understand and embrace a changing world; Spectrum coincides with this mission as we accept each person for who they truly are.
Spectrum consists of passionate volunteers that not only educate, but explore different perspectives in order to broaden the EHS community’s horizon. The group strives to acknowledge and celebrate uniqueness, a powerful tool that brings outside perspectives into our own community. By embracing these points of views, differences strengthen and enrich Episcopal. The group values the radiance of each individual’s unique qualities that collectively shine as one beautiful spectrum.

The S.A.A.C serves as a liaison between athletic teams and the EHS administration, as well as a liaison between athletics and the entire student body. The group works to facilitate conversations about issues regarding athletics and how athletes are represented within the larger community. Members of S.A.A.C work actively work to build a sense of community and encourage sportsmanship in all facets of EHS life as well as a positive student-athlete image on campus. This committee provides a forum for discussion where members can provide valuable insights into different athletic issues. Their contributions help to guide the athletic department in shaping department policies.
The S.A.A.C is comprised of eight student-athletes elected by their peers, and four student-athletes selected "at-large" by coaches and members of the athletic department. Each class elects two individuals to represent their grade (one boy, one girl per grade level) by popular vote. The remaining four council members are selected by coaches and members of the athletic department, who work to create a group that represents as diverse a group of athletes as possible, varying by age, sport, gender, and level of competition.
The S.A.A.C meets with members of the athletic department periodically throughout the year.
