Episcopal Squash

Celebrate Squash at EHS!

Squash is a beloved sport at Episcopal High School, played at the highest levels against the toughest competition. Responding to the demands of increased participation and the challenges of providing adequate court time to Episcopal's four squash teams, The EHS Promise delivered with four new courts. Today, the Goodman Squash Center houses nine international-sized, state-of-the-art courts. It is the finest squash facility in the region.

"The growing interest in squash at Episcopal demanded the need for the renovation and expansion of the Goodman Squash Center. This completed structure makes such an incredible impact on our program.  We now have the premiere courts in the DC-Metro area, and can accommodate practices and matches for all levels of participation.  Additionally, and in keeping with all of our athletics facilities, Episcopal has the capability to host junior and professional tournaments at a large scale.  It's a great time to be a player, coach, or squash enthusiast at EHS!"

- Head Varsity Boys' Squash Coach Frank Phillips

"The four new squash courts have not only added to the five we were already lucky enough to have, but they have brought along a new appreciation for our amazing facilities and for the sport here on campus. The squash courts have allowed the four JV and varsity teams to take our game to the next level with the opportunity of longer practice times. Also, with nine squash courts Episcopal has been able to host tournaments such as the Virginia Juniors Tournament and the Mid-Atlantic Championships. I may be biased, but I believe we have the nicest squash courts in the DC Metro area."
