Celebrate Wrestling at EHS!

Wrestling is not for the faint of heart, mind, or body. Then again, strength in these areas is an EHS student-athlete tradition and something the Maroon has amply demonstrated on the mat as early as 1913. Spectators today will be amazed at what The Promise has done for wrestling at EHS. The Cage has been completely renovated and now houses two full-size mats, a new ventilation system, and an electronic mat lift. It is a brighter and more exciting venue for one of Episcopal's most time-honored sports.

"The cage renovations turned out better than we could have imagined. The expanded mat area enables us to do much more during practice both from the standpoint of wrestling and conditioning. In addition, it enables us to host multi-team events, something that was difficult to do prior to the renovations. Those knowledgeable about the sport see the room and are immediately impressed by the improvements. Said one EHS graduate, who later walked on at a major division I program, 'this is nicer than what I had in college.'"
