Campaign Update: Crane Comes Down as Athletics Facility Rises

Regional Campaign Launches Planned for January Through April

January 12, 2010

After a festive launch on campus during Spirit Weekend, The Promise campaign hit the road this month with a regional campaign launch in Atlanta on Jan. 13. Receptions in Richmond, Charlotte, and New York will launch regional campaigns in the coming months. "We are delighted with the level of enthusiasm that the campaign has generated so far," said Director of Development Bob Eckert. "This campaign is an excellent chance to work with our dedicated alumni and parents this spring and throughout the next several years."

Construction on the new athletics facility continues to move quickly, with the large crane that was a fixture on campus this fall taken down on Dec. 9 so that work can begin on the roof of the building. The roof is about 90% watertight now, and installation of permanent roofing will begin at the end of this month. Masonry work will be completed by the end of January, with window installation beginning soon after. For more information on The Promise Campaign, or to volunteer for a regional campaign committee, please contact Bob Eckert, Director of Development, at 1-877-EHS-1839 or RCE@episcopalhighschool.org.
