Class of 2007 Gift

Courtyard

To honor the Class of 2007 and acknowledge the generosity of their parents and grandparents to Episcopal High School, the courtyard outside of Blackford Hall was named the Class of 2007 Courtyard.

Renovated during the summer of 2007, the courtyard has become a place for conversation or quiet reflection. Surrounded by a lush plant palette of ferns, spring-blooming Virginia bluebells, ornamental trees overhead, and pots brimming with flowering shrubs, the shaded space offers four-season interest.

Pavers

The names of each member of the Class of 2007 are engraved in limestone pavers within the brick courtyard, welcoming class members into the annals of Episcopal's history.

An inviting, informal meeting space for students and teachers, the courtyard serves as an extension of the adjoining spaces—the Blackford Hall student lounge and the faculty workroom—creating a natural meeting place for casual student and faculty interaction.

Episcopal High School is deeply grateful to the parents, grandparents, and friends of the Class of 2007 for their support.
