Ken has taught AP and regular U.S. History at Episcopal since 2002 and received the Alexandria Education Partnership 2006 Excellence in Education award. A Boston native, Ken played soccer and ran track while at Brandeis University. Prior to joining EHS, Ken earned a master’s degree in history, taught for three years at Hilton Head Preparatory School, coached soccer at both Buckingham Browne and Nicholls School and Northeastern University, and played professional soccer for five years. Ken has spent his summers at EHS studying with revolutionary historian Gordon Wood, working as a dean of students at the Oxford Tradition program, and served as a player/assistant coach for the 2003 Premier Developmental League National Champion Cape Cod Crusaders.Ken is an assistant coach for boys’ varsity soccer. He serves as the School’s director of institutional research through the Center for the Study of Boys’ Lives, works as an admissions interviewer, is a student advisor, and lives on McGuire Dorm with his bloodhound, Pokey. |
