One of the major reasons Jeff chose teaching as a profession over 20 years ago was his experience as a student at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. At Episcopal, Jeff teaches geometry and is head of McGuire Dorm. He also oversees the workings of all the dormitories as director of residential life and director of student activities. Jeff can be found planning a party for 1,000 teenagers or, for a more quiet night, a coffeehouse event in Bryan Library. He enjoys his work at EHS because “The classes are small, and the students are motivated and want to succeed. There is a sense that we are all in this together. EHS is small enough that you actually do know each of the kids.”Jeff, his wife, Lynne, and their sons, Tim ’05 and Zack ’06, have lived on McGuire Dormitory since 1991 with their dog, Tazzy, and cat, George. In his free time he is a lacrosse referee, refinishes furniture, and spends time fishing and boating on the Pamlico Sound at his vacation home in Oriental, N.C. |
