Mimi graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, where she was a member of the Cum Laude Society, the Honor Committee, and captain of the cross-country team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a concentration in education, from Davidson College and received the William D. Vinson Mathematics Award, presented by the mathematics faculty to the best math student in the class. While at Davidson, Mimi served as a math tutor and was hired to research texts and develop curriculum to launch a new course that integrates mathematics into the solution of real-world problems.
She spent last summer as a teaching assistant at Andover in Massachusetts, teaching pre-calculus and trigonometry and serving as a faculty advisor and dorm counselor. At Episcopal Mimi teaches math, coaches cross country and track, and serves on the Anderson Dorm Team.
