Before joining the EHS faculty in 1999, Bob served as director of admissions at the University of the South for 12 years. Prior to this, Bob served as dean of admissions at Washington University in St. Louis for three years and as assistant dean of admissions at the University of Virginia for nine years. Bob is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors and the College Board, and he has served on the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Selection Committee.

In addition to running the college counseling office at Episcopal, Bob is a member of the administrative duty team and is a senior class dean. He lives on campus.
