Mark E. Gowin Director of Athletics M.S. State University of New York at Albany B.S. Ithaca College

Mark has served as Episcopal’s director of athletics since 2005. Prior to that, he spent four years as dean of students. He manages an athletic program that includes 44 teams in 15 sports in interscholastic competition with the Interstate Athletic Conference (boys’ teams) and the Independent School League (girls’ teams). He is also head coach of varsity football, serves on the administrative duty team, and is a student advisor.

Mark and his wife, Susan, live on campus and have two children, Brian ’98 and Lindsey ’02.
