An alumna of Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, Pa., Rachael graduated cum laude in history from Princeton with minors in African-American and Latin American studies. She comes to Episcopal after two successful years at Asheville School in North Carolina. There she taught world history, European history, and helped pilot a new humanities program in world studies. She also took on the role of dorm parent and was sponsor for a number of independent senior projects. Beyond the classroom, Rachael supervised the volunteer program for students at the community women’s shelter and youth tutoring program.At Episcopal Rachael teaches history, assists with admissions interviews, and coaches the crew team. She lives on Anderson Dorm with her husband, Barlow, and their cat, Lyndon B. Johnson.
