Ellie graduated from Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and received her bachelor’s degree in English and mathematics from Georgetown University, where she was a member of the Georgetown women’s Division I lacrosse team. Prior to Episcopal, Ellie lived in New York City where she taught high school mathematics at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, N.Y., and earned her master’s degree at Columbia University’s Teachers College.

In addition to teaching mathematics at EHS, Ellie is the assistant coach for the girls’ varsity soccer and lacrosse teams, as well as a member of the Activities Team. In her free time Ellie enjoys jogging and playing tennis and golf.
