William H. de Butts III '76 Chief Financial Officer M.B.A. University of Virginia A.B. Princeton University

A 1976 graduate of EHS, Boota returned to Episcopal as the chief financial officer after working in the for-profit sector for over 20 years. His work experience took the de Butts family across the country and around the world; his children were born in San Francisco, Charlottesville, and Paris. Boota also served on Episcopal’s Board of Trustees for five years and was inducted into Episcopal’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Boota is a member of the Administrative Duty Team and serves as a student advisor. He and his wife, Shelley, live on campus with their three children, Lindsey ’08, Hunter ’10, and Austin.
