Saleena Dakin

Saleena Dakin came to EHS from the Arlington Pediatric Center, where she was medical director. She also serves as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Georgetown University. She completed her residency in pediatrics at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, where she was selected to serve as chief resident of pediatrics. Saleena is licensed in the state of Virginia and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

As Episcopal’s medical director, Saleena works closely with the nursing staff, counselors, faculty, athletic trainers, and consulting physicians to ensure that students receive comprehensive quality health care. She also volunteers at the Arlington Pediatric Center, a non-profit clinic that cares for underserved children. Saleena lives on campus with her husband, Shaun, their son, Joseph, and two standard poodles, Indie and Sophie.
