Meagan attended boarding school at Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario, before enrolling at Princeton. There she was captain of the women’s golf team, earned first team All-Ivy honors, and was named to the Division I All-Scholar Team. She graduated cum laude in geosciences from Princeton and went on to earn her master’s degree in museum studies, with a concentration in science education, from the University of Toronto.

Prior to entering the world of teaching, Meagan worked for the U.S. National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, the World Wildlife Fund, and as a science educator at the Ontario Science Centre. She then taught middle school science and math for two years at Green Hedges School in Vienna, Va., where she also served as a grade level advisor and coach.

At Episcopal, Meagan teaches chemistry, coaches girls’ JV basketball, and is the assistant coach for girls’ varsity softball. She is part of the EHS Environmental Oversight Committee and serves on the Evans Dorm team. She also continues to work as a consultant for museum education outreach. Meagan and her husband, Andy, live in Arlington, Va.
