Join American University Head Women’s Basketball Coach Melissa McFerrin for camp! Her student-athletes and coaches will host four exciting days of instruction and fun.
Girls entering grades three through eight (3-8) will develop individual basketball skills with a focus on the fundamentals of the game, teamwork, and communication. Tuition is $230 and includes:
quality instruction from college coaches and student-athletes
individual evaluations
a camp t-shirt
lunch in Episcopal’s air-conditioned dining hall
enjoyment of various Episcopal facilities, including swimming pool

Melissa McFerrin, Head Women's Basketball Coach for American University, spent five years coaching in the WNBA before moving to college sports. She spent two seasons as General Manager of the Washington Mystics, in one of which the Mystics made the WNBA playoffs.
McFerrin has coached at the University of Minnesota, Ohio State University, and Central Michigan University. She was a four-year letterwinner and a starting point guard for the University of Missouri between 1979 and 1983. She led the Tigers to a Big Eight Tournament championship and subsequent NCAA Tournament appearance in her senior season. In 1982, her Tiger squad made it to the NCAA Sweet 16.
An 18-year member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, McFerrin also has served on the USA Basketball National Team Selection Committee. |
