From
the Headmaster
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Episcopal High School Web site. We are
delighted that you have found us and invite you to get to know us better
through this site. It is our hope that many of Episcopal's special qualities
will come to life through these images and words. Our lively classrooms
celebrate the joy of learning and foster the quest for excellence and
exploration. We draw upon the rich historical, cultural and scientific
resources of the nation's capital to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Our 100 percent residential community helps to build lifelong friendships
among students and creates an environment where teachers are a vital part
of each student's daily experience. Small classes provide the opportunity
to challenge students to think critically and express themselves. Above
all, Episcopal High School is an active and fun place to learn and live.
The very best way to experience Episcopal High School
is to come to campus and meet our students and faculty. After traveling
through our Web site, we hope you will plan to visit us soon.
Sincerely,
F. Robertson Hershey
Headmaster
